Sofiya exists to give every student the kind of rigorous, one-on-one dialogue that only a few ever get, without taking pedagogy or judgment out of the educator's hands.
Our mission
Good teaching has always been dialogical: a teacher asking the next good question and a student thinking out loud in response. It just doesn't scale: there are too many students and too few hours.
Sofiya is an attempt to close that gap honestly. It gives every student a structured Socratic dialogue, while keeping the things that must stay human: the objectives, the rubric, the assessment, and the feedback, firmly with the teacher.
